This Content Policy describes what kinds of content appear on Ember & Ace, how that content is created and curated, and the standards we hold every prompt, dare, card, and game text to. Accepting the Terms of Service also constitutes acceptance of this Content Policy.
1. What This Platform Publishes
Ember & Ace is an adults-only party games platform. All content, including prompts, dares, truth questions, trivia, game copy, and atmosphere text, is written and curated by the Ember & Ace team. We do not currently host user-generated content. Every piece of text you see in a game has been reviewed against this policy before shipping.
2. Content That Is Never Published
The following content is prohibited on this platform without exception. No prompt, dare, or game element will ever include:
- Any depiction, reference, or implication involving anyone under 18, in any context.
- Non-consensual scenarios, coercion, or content that frames consent as optional or negotiable.
- Content that targets, mocks, or degrades individuals based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or body.
- Prompts designed to humiliate, shame, or publicly expose specific individuals.
- Content promoting self-harm, suicide, or dangerous behavior.
- Illegal activity, including drug use beyond legal alcohol references, and illegal weapons.
- Real-person impersonation, defamation, or private information disclosure.
3. Heat Tier System
Games that involve adult-themed prompts are organized into three explicit tiers. Tier selection is always the player's choice. The platform never forces a tier, and every game defaults to the lowest available.
- Normal is flirty, playful, and party-safe for mixed groups.
- Hot includes sexually suggestive language and bolder physical dares for groups who have explicitly opted in.
- Spicy includes overtly sexual content and intimate scenarios for partnered or trusted small-group play with explicit opt-in.
Players can change tier between rounds. Hot and Spicy content is never served without clear tier selection.
4. Drinking Content (21+)
Any prompt or dare involving alcohol is gated behind a separate 21+ confirmation that is independent from the 18+ entry gate. A player who has confirmed 18+ but not 21+ cannot access drinking modes. The 21+ confirmation is scoped per session and per device.
5. Consent Mechanics In Gameplay
Every game includes Pass and Redraw controls. Any player can skip any prompt at any time, without explanation and without penalty. Games that involve physical dares include an explicit check-in step before performing them. These are gameplay affordances, not substitutes for genuine communication between participants.
6. How Content Is Reviewed
Every new prompt or game element goes through an internal review pass before being added to the platform. We check for policy compliance, tier appropriateness, consent framing, and basic quality. Content that fails any of these checks is rejected or rewritten.
7. Reporting a Problem
If you encounter a prompt that you believe violates this policy, report it with the game name and enough prompt text for us to locate it. We will investigate and remove or rewrite it as appropriate.

8. User-Generated Content
At this time, the platform does not accept user-submitted prompts, decks, or game content. If we add user-generated content in the future, this policy will be updated with moderation workflow, submission standards, and takedown procedures before any such feature ships.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected in a bumped revision date on this page, and users will be asked to re-accept the updated policies on next visit.
